Hello, from Chris Newsam & Janice Every
Our joint passion and concern for animals means we offer a caring and professional service to you and, most importantly, your special pets. Both of us have a lifelong interest in animal welfare and have shared and, had our lives enriched by, some beautiful creatures including dogs, cats, rabbits, various birds, fish, goats, guinea pigs.... Currently we share out lives with Sophie, a Saluki Cross, who came to us (or as we say, chose us!) having been rescued after being abandoned and left to roam the streets. It's been our joy to watch Sophie regain her confidence and trust, and to see her happy and healthy. As a pet owner you will understand just how much we learn from our animal companions and that only the best is good enough for them.
Following recent careers working with local charities we have chosen to develop this business which allows us to use our passion for pets. I am offering a full-time service, with my wife Janice doing this part-time whilst continuing in her role as Chief Officer of a charity supporting blind and partially sighted people.
We are receiving specialised animal handling and first aid training at a veterinary hospital, as well as completing a recognised and accredited animal nutrition course.
We both hold enhanced CRB clearance, and run a fully equipped and unique Animal Ambulance which is authorised by the State Veterinary Service and is DEFRA approved. This means that we can assure you that your pets will be properly looked after and safely transported ensuring your peace of mind. We are also fully insured.
